Day 1 Arrive Madrid - transfer into the city and settle in to the hotel. This afternoon enjoy a guided orientation tour of Madrid taking in Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol

Day 2 Madrid - Our guided tour today will include a visit to the Palacio Real and a tour of the highlights of the world famous art gallery – El Prado. Afternoon free.

Day 3 Madrid to Salamanca - journey to Salamanca, an ancient and beautiful university city with Spain’s most perfect ‘plaza’. A guided walking tour will include the famous Plaza Mayor , Patio de las Escuelas and the university.

Day 4 Salamanca to Coimbra - we journey through wild and beautiful landscapes into Portugal via Ciudad Rodgrigo to the university city of Coimbra.

Day 5 Coimbra to Lisbon - Scenic journey to Santarem and to Lisbon - Queen of the Seas.

Day 6 Lisbon - Our guided tour today includes the exquisite Manueline Hieronymite Monastery, the Belem Tower & the Monument to Discoveries

Day 7 Lisbon to Seville - Spectacular drive into Spain and to Seville.

Day 8 Seville - Our morning guided tour includes the famous Cathedral, the Giralda Tower & Patio de los Naranjos. Afternoon take a horse-drawn carriage by the river Guadalquivir and visit the Santa Cruz area . Attend a Flamenco performance in the evening.

Day 9 Seville to Granada - Drive to Cordoba. A guided tour will include La Mezquita, Jewish quarter and the delightful tiled patios of the old quarter.

Day 10 Granada - Our morning takes in the spectacular Moorish Alhambra Palace & the fragrant Generalife gardens. This afternoon our guided visit includes the old cathedral quarter with its Royal Chapel & tombs. Evening in the Albaicin gypsy quarter.

Day 11 Granada to Toledo - scenic journey through Andalusian plains and Castille, to Toledo , the old capital of Spain.

Day 12 Toledo - Guided tour of Toledo includes the famous Cathedral, Santo Tome including El Greco’s 'The Burial of the Count of Orgaz’.

Day 13 Depart Toledo - Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
