Day 1 Depart USA for Germany - Overnight flight from United States to Munich, Germany.

Day 2 Arrive Munich - Upon arrival at the airport we will be met by our tour manager and luxury motorcoach. Orientation tour of this great city including a visit to Nymphenberg Palace, Frauenkirche, and the Marienplatz with its famous Glockenspiel. Dinner at our hotel this evening. (CB,D)

Day 3 Munich to Salzburg - Tour directly to the wonderful city of Salzburg – Mozart’s city of music. Guided walking tour of the baroque centre including the Great Festival Hall, the exquisite Domplatz, 17th century Cathedral, St Peter’s Abbey and Mirabell Palace gardens. Visit included to Mozart’s birthplace. Afternoon at leisure. (CB,D)

Day 4 The Salzkammergut & The Sound of Music - Tour into The Salzkammergut for stunning scenery – green meadows, vast lakes, soaring mountains and valleys and sites associated with the Sound of Music including the Abbey church at Mondsee. Also visit the unique lakeside village of Hallstatt surrounded by mountains. (CB,D)

Day 5 Salzburg to Innsbruck - This morning we enjoy a simply lovely scenic journey to Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol region, famous for its beautiful mountain backdrop. Our guided tour includes the Olympic ski jump and 15th century Little Golden Roof. (CB,D)

Day 6 Innsbruck to Oberammergau - Transfer to Garmisch and on to Linderhof Palace and gardens, King Ludwig’s Baroque creation. Continue to Oberammergau - the pretty village with is frescoed houses, home to The Passion Play season every ten years. Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau. (CB,D).

Day 7 Oberammergau – Passion Play - Today we attend the famous Passion Play – a captivating and emotive play, testimony of religious faith but also an outstanding cultural event! Dinner and overnight. (CB,D)

Day 8 Oberammergau to Neuschwanstein - Today we take the wonderful scenic journey through the Bavarian alps to Fussen to visit King Ludwig’s beautiful fairytale castle at Neuschwanstein. Return to Munich for farewell dinner and overnight. (CB,D)

Day 9 Depart Munich - Transfer to Munich airport for our return flight (CB)
